Textures Painted textures are the high end of decorative faux painting! Textures vary from glossy polished to jagged stucco. I use a rough-textured product or smooth products like Venetian plaster applied with a trowel or a blade. Glazes or metallic waxes are hand rubbed to bring out the beautiful texture and luster.
